Anyone know the right category to claim the bloodwork/vaccinations under for course related costs? Doesn't seem to fit into any of the categories even though the supplied documents say we can use studylink to pay for the costs.

Just use course related costs or whatever and add a description that it's to do with that. Studylink usually fixes it if they believe it should have been under a different category.

A friend got one on 16th Jan this year. You can also email the admissions office and ask whereabouts you are on the waitlist. All the best

It will be interesting to see the cutoffs for med and dent this year. I believe the med cutoff was 93.57%

Imho you shouldn't give up at all since you are on the waitlist. Tbh you shouldn't give up even if you were straight declined as there is always grad entry.

Yes, I have been told if you accept an offer you can still be on the waitlist for medicine.

Yes, and if you get offered med then you need to email in to cancel your acceptance of dent.

Do be sure that you WANT to do dentistry before you accept it, though. Don't go into an entirely different career you won't love because you didn't get into med

Yeah I think that's what Verdigris did last year but declined her enrolment for dent as she was sure that med was her dream. Now she's a med student in Australia.

Hard ... This is something you'll be doing for the rest of your life so be sure that it's what you really want to do. It's not the end of it all and there's way more ways to get into med as is the case with Verd
