Did you apply for both bonded and non bonded places? Could UMAT interview threshold be lower for bonded applicants?

Has anyone got an interview offer from UWS today?? Curious to know if they're still sending out offers, especially to NSW applicants.

Anyone knows the cutoff UMAT % in Adelaide Uni for interstate applicants? I got 98%

If you mean 1st round interview we've been talking about it, seems to be ~190 96%ile.
If 2nd round it's 66% ATAR 33% UMAT so there isn't one UMAT cutoff score.

Recieved an offer for JMP at newcastle, 61/59/66/187 95% UMAT, I was not expecting to get one considering the threshold for other uni's have only gone up this year, glad to be passed the GPA and now UMAT hurdle though, I think 100% weighting on the interview is a top idea.

do you reckon a 179 with a 99.85 atar would get a second round?

At Unsw 179 would require 99.0-99.2 , so 99.85 should be a yes for Adel.

Correction on the ~190 cutoff for 1st round interstate, so far we have seen just two 100%iles + one 96%ile (total 189) with offers. We don't know if this 189 had some special consideration or was a mistake etc so nothing is conclusive.

In the first round of Adelaide medicine interviews , Adelaide applicants get a UMAT bonus and hence why it is very competitive for people interstate to get an interview. However, the 2nd round interviews are mainly for interstate applicants and they offer 100-200 interviews. Interviews are given out by weighing the ATAR and UMAT in a 2:1 ratio. One of my friends who's interstate got a 2nd round interview and unbonded offer with a umat of 92% and 98.20 ATAR last year so there's still hope.

yes. All of you aspiring to be a doctor, Don't worry about the offers for next 10 days. Just work hard and get the maximum ATAR you could achieve. Good luck to you all

It is likely this friend had some UES bonus points (either school-based or socioeconomic-based) generously given by SATAC. Would be rare for 98.20 & 92%ile by themselves to score a place. @MedDent is Adel local had 99.95 & 86%ile and missed out on both offer rounds (did get a place afterwards in like a top-up round).

University of Adelaide Medicine
Offer: Yes
63/59/66 - 95%ile
Interstate - No
Non-Rural
School Leaver

Pretty sure im not getting into UWS, hoping for JMP offer.

@A1. Advice needed Pls

I have the same overall score (188) and overall percentile (95%) as the one above. I'm also not an interstate (i.e. I'm from SA) or rural student. And I'm a school leaver (so pretty much exactly the same as the one in the quote). But I didn't get an interview offer at Adelaide Med (I got a rejection email). What can I do about this?

Seems like there is a bit of a kerfuffle happening at the moment. This you would need to contact the faculty about.
