Hi there,
Just to help out for anyone wishing to do medicine in the future.

Friend of mine got 99.65 ATAR with a UMAT score of 169 and just got a rejection email from UNSW medicine
 
Just got a rejection email from UNSW Medicine
UMAT 99%ile (71:71:56)
ATAR 96
NSW School Leaver
No special considerations

when you submitted your drl online form thing, did you get an email or anything that confirmed that you were a drl applicant? because i'm not sure if i did it correctly or if something went wrong thanks!

I cant remember getting any acknowledgement of being accepted under DRL

IMPORTANT TO KNOW if having trouble trying to book Monash interview.
Some students birthdates have the month and day reversed so if having trouble trying to book interview time reverse your month and day of birth to login. Had to ring medical admissions to find out but they close soonish

I emailed UNSW and they haven't received ATAR results from SA yet. South Australian applicants will be considered for the 3rd round of interviews on the 24th January instead . So don't worry! :)

Do call admissions I also got a rejection email after earlier been offered a Jan 24th interview. Called them and there was a problem with my results coming through . Though this was rural

Do they have results from all unis or are some of them pending as well?

Just got 2nd round UNSW Interview offer.

UMAT 100%ile (71/68/71)
OP1 so 99+ ATAR equiv. (I'm from QLD)

The date given is 24th Jan, I called and 4/5th Jan is not possible for an interstate applicant.

From 97+ to 99.75 is a huge jump, maybe it includes a bonus that Unsw doesn't count?

Maybe. However the email does say at the very top that South Australian and Western Australia students that results haven't been received and to dismiss the email below.

I got the same email and I was confused so I emailed them and they told me it was only to inform me that I won't be considered for the interviews in early January but will still be considered for the late January round :)

From some unis lacking to one OVER-communicating - informing you've been rejected for a round not meant for you :D

With pi's help I've worked out there are 500+ interviewees in Monash main round and 80-100 in the interstate round, so the ratio is around 1 in 2.5 (best in the country for undergrad entry).
 
Hey guys does anyone know if Rural QLD'ers are supposed to receive an offer from Monash University yet? unless they have and I didn't make the cutoff :(
