Yay, super relieved and happy to receive an interview invite from Monash! :)
If 1:3 interview offer to place offer is the correct stat, it's actually higher than what I expected.

ATAR - 99.65
UMAT - 95%ile
Rural - No
State - VIC
School leaver - Yes

*Edit* Checked my email just now and looks like I made the January round for UNSW too. :o
 
Anyone knows whether Monash guarantee interview for interstate has been released yet or not? What is the success place offer rate after the interview?

Hey guys, I have an ATAR of 98.35 and UMAT score of 53 percentile. I have applied for Flinders Uni for Clinical Sciences and I am wondering if my ATAR and UMAT will give me a good chance of getting in?

Likely, know of a few interstate people with your scores from last year, but also depends on your section scores.
 
Hi guys, this is probably not the right place for it, but minor emergency, is anyone having trouble logging in to book an interview time with the Monash system? I think I saw a post before that implied that someone else might also be experiencing this issue.
I've been trying to call their Medicine faculty's general inquiries but the timing sucks as they seem to have closed for the Christmas break.
I'm a little concerned as it says they won't respond to any emails or calls until January, and offers must be accepted by the 27th of December.

Try typing mm/dd/year instead and don't forget to exclude zero at the start of the month

Did you see this post from Mary
"IMPORTANT TO KNOW if having trouble trying to book Monash interview.
Some students birthdates have the month and day reversed so if having trouble trying to book interview time reverse your month and day of birth to login. Had to ring medical admissions to find out but they close soonish"

Oh thank god, it worked. Lifesavers, thank you so much. Hope anyone else who has had trouble sees this.

You'd have to absolutely smash the interview, and/or hope for a clerical error.

I would probably call them up and confirm that the interview offer was valid even with that ATAR and that UMAT score - this might save you a trip.
 
Also to note: interstaters awaiting interviews around the country should not necessarily expect that they would get a late round interview over an early round one - most interviews are done in the early round and therefore some proportion of interstaters will always be interviewed in early rounds.
 
please keep posting your atar/UMAT etc, if you receive an offer from Monash. It will help all of us to get some idea about the cut-off.
