Hi.
Does SEAS apply to GPA when applying for Latrobe Dent? Or does SEAS only apply to ATAR?

Hi.
I am planning to start a bachelor of biomedicine at Latrobe next year with the goal of transferring into dentistry. I know it is extremely competitive but im just wondering if I have to have done VCE bio and chem. I didn't do any of these at highschool unfortunately. Would the two chem and two bio subjects taken in first year covers those prerequisites or am I screwed. Thanks!

Hi.
Am I correct in that UCAT is no longer used for entry for Latrobe Dent? Also, is WAM or GPA used for non-standard applicants? And for those who have completed 2 years of university study, does that mean they will use whichever is higher from ATAR and GPA? And do SEAS adjustments also apply to WAM and GPA?

Hi there,
I’m not sure if UCAT is used for non standards. I’m pretty sure it isn’t. Can someone confirm?

Aspire- does silver cert of duke of Ed practically guarantee aspire approval for a school leaver ( Latrobe Dental)?
When I went to the Aspire webinar early last year, I remember them stating Duke of Ed gives guaranteed aspire approval to any course but I don't think they specifically said which certificate, It's best to contact them. If you are applying for this year though and didn't get an email confirming you received the aspire dental offer from La Trobe then you won't receive one.

Hey guys,
Anyone know when offers come out? And also do they send them all out at the same time?
i'm wondering this too, the vtac website is a bit confusing; this is what it says:

"Offers are emailed to applicants on the day of release and available in the VTAC account from 2pm the same day."

Obv offers are emailed on the 'day of release' lmfao idk what they mean by that...but it seems like they get released at 2pm. I believe they stagger the offers so they aren't released at the same time for everyone but correct me if I'm wrong

did any non-standards/internal transfer applicant get offers today? I have yet to receive an offer as internal applicant with a 95 wam :/

Furthermore apparently this year, theres only 20 people that were offered dent (as opposed to 60 normally) according to the latrobe livechat but when asked how many nonstandards got an offers, they didn't know what non standard is... Are we able to get someone from inside to confirm? Only person i know is Unluckydude

No dental science offer this round for me too. I instead got an offer to study Physiotherapy (2nd preference) at the Bundoora campus. I just finished my first year of biomedicine. Still hoping that there may be a couple second round offers sent out.

I don't know the context of the data. But I would assume that the person was referring the number of offers made to metro-applicants (VTAC ID 2100211491) which is consistent with the data from last year. They made 24 offers to metro-applicants last year.

Unfortunately, I don't have any info on internal transfers. Their internal transfer process has always been very untransparent. They don't disclose much details and no one really knows how it works.

For those of you who are interested. Here is the ATAR report.

I called them a few days ago and apparently the lowest selection rank was 99.75 for this year? Not too sure if there are vacancies, just hoping some people decline this course for other ones at this point
