Unfortunately accomm on campus is pretty much full with huge waiting lists. I'd recommend looking at places like flat mates to find nearby off campus accommodationI got an offer to Monash this morning and so I was wondering what my chances would be like in getting on campus accomodation?
I think Berwick might be a bit too far and it has also closed at the end of 2017. I know many students who live off campus like a ten min walk. You can get in touch if you join the group attached in my ‘occupation’.you could also check out berwick accomodation if you want to live on campus. It's pretty easy to transfer from there on. Good luck!
Hi everyone. I recently applied for on-campus accomodation at the urban community halls and was unfortunately not accepted for the first round. The email I received did however say that I am on the list to be considered for the second round of offers which will come out on the 21st of Jan 2019.
However, I recently got some emails saying that I have to submit some income declaration forms and documents to be considered for NRAS studios. Can I be considered for NRAS studios even though I'm an international student? Also, if I were to not send in the documents, would I still be considered for the second round of offers in January?
Sorry if this is really confusing! I'm quite confused as well

Hey I dont think there's much hope for on campus accom this time of the year, but would anyone be able to guide me on the popular options amongst med students? Any other options available for student accomodation other than the ones listed on the website, and going with flatmates? And just in case on campus doesn't work out, where can I look at finding flatmates who are also in med? Do you think living off campus will limit opportunities to socialise?

Hi Meddie,
1. Apply soon as it will only get harder with waiting lists.
2. Yes I believe. Some bathrooms and toilets are divided between sex.
3.Residential village- pros - cheap, more social
cons- share toilet, shower, fridge, kitchen- it also is further away from campus - old.
Urban community pros- own toilet, shower, fridge , kitchen
cons- more expensive and can be less social
Internet is all similar.
4. Not sure really but all halls have a few. IMO making friends outside of medicine is a lot harder than inside so don't be too worried about it.
