It's not possible to rave enough about Pixar's animation achievements.Benjamin Button better be as good as you all say it is because I'm going to go see it after reading this thread.![]()
i liked Australia, despite all the sappiness hehe.how did you find it? (assuming you have seen it) i thought it was quite poignant albeit a little on the long-ish side. made me want to read the original f. scott fitzgerald story. a couple of my friends thought it was a bit sappy but who doesn't love a bit of sap every once in a whilei liked Australia, despite all the sappiness hehe.
on a less sappier note : can't wait to watch Valkyrie![]()
For some reason the movie reminded me of Big Fish =/Actually I think Valkyrie looks kinda silly (and not just because Tom Cruise is in the leading role, though that hardly helps). I counted a German accent, an American accent, and a good few British accents.
Just saw Revolutionary Road, with Leo and Kate Winslet, directed by Sam Mendes.
Was pretty damn good, I knew when I saw the trailer it'd be at the top of my list to see. It was a bit boring for the first half, but gets quite engaging in the second half. Easy to watch and just think "I'm never going to let that happen to me" but realise that a lot of people have gone through it to some degree.
Since it's the same director as American Beauty, it was always meant to be good. A big thumbs up from me.
