Otago Halls of Residence

Yeah that comeback was a little weak. Do you wanna redo it or something?

In all seriousness, I just dont want to have the pressure of 70% healthsci students - no release from the fact you are doing a highly competitive year.

chill out bro.
and not sure if you know but it ain't compulsory to talk about hsfy 24/7 at your hall.
plus, no matter how many health scis are at your hall, you should only ever be focused on your own goal (passing hsfy) and your hall shouldn't change that.

Keep the pissy comments to facebook hey

Cheers "Dad", just learning the ropes here; not a veteran such as yourself.

Yeah Billy mate, its not compulsory to talk about hsfy all the time but I am sure it is bound to happen and I don't particularly want to hear about other peoples' dreams of being a surgeon or a general practitioner etc etc. I am focused about my goals that's why I didnt go to a hall with 70% hsfy students - anyway have fun walking that hill every day it will be good to clear your head after and before being encapsulated in the medstudent wannabe land that is Carrington College.

Woah, I don't understand your hostility towards Carrington.

This is good banter lulwut. There is no hostility but I couldnt survive there a) the houses are a weird set up b) there is not much variety of people when there is 70% hsfy students c) i dont like the walk up the hill d) the place seems removed from the campus and the facilities compared to the others.

Almost as bad as Dorky whose original name was futuredoc2014

Ohoo didnt see your comment Havox sorry

Yeah. Seriously mate don't do it again, there's a bit of fun but attacking someone's name isn't done on our boards.

I'm glad you got offered Arana then - who knows how you would've survived walking up that hill! I sure as hell almost died during my daily walks to get my chicken nuggets for lunch.

Woah dude, they aren't even here so what's that got to do with anything?

Anyways, let's just chill out for a little bit and help the little ones with some tips.

I have a good tip for health sci! Always make sure you read the question fully and properly. Sometimes a lecturer will give you a question that looks simple and you miss marks for not answering the question entirely. A good indicator is the number of marks a question is given.
This also works the opposite way though. Sometimes you'll give too much information. If nobody asked the question then don't answer it. You don't need to keep waffling on and on, just keep it nice and concise so it's easy on the eyes of the markers :)
