Oh sorry, I wasn't referring to unis that take in non-standards, just medical unis in general. Really the only options for non-standards (excl. JCU and Bond) are the NSW unis, and since you're a UAdel student - UAdel. Huge congrats on your score, though!! Getting any interviews is getting tougher and tougher every year, haha
Ah okay, no worries! That's what I thought, thanks for the kind words :) Yeah, no use worrying about what the JMP cutoff is, can't control it, i'll just focus on nailing any interview I get.

Appreciate the help!

Disappointed with my UCAT score of 2760. I put so much time into improving my score! I feel like I’m just not cut out for it. This was my 3rd attempt.

I am rural, and got an interview with JMP last year. I doubt I’ll get another one this year, if the cutoffs for rural increase by the same amount.

Any advice?

Thanks

OMG, my VR section is sooo bad, I don't think I stand any chance. 😭

I'm currently on a 6 GPA, I think I can boost it up to a 6.5 during sem 2... would I have a shot at UNSW if I did get it up to a 6.5? Or is that still too low?
What a great score. if you already UNSW student then you have high chances if I read threads in the past correctly. Also in which test centre you sat UCAT test in Sydney?

What were the lowest ATAR and UCAT score that got a first round interview invite from Curtin last yr?

I found one with 99.25 and 3030 but surely there's other combined scores lower than this that got an interview right?

How do you know your state if you are an Australian citizen but have studied abroad your whole life. I was born in Melbourne

Hi everyone!!! I did my UCAT yesterday which went much worse than my mocks cause of stress 😭

VR: 640
DM: 670

AR: 890
Total: 2940
SJ: 573
Predicted/Actual ATAR/GPA: 97+
Rural: (yes/no and rural ranking if known/applicable): Yes RA3/MM4
State: SA
Other Special Considerations: (inc. GWS, EAS, Indigenous pathway, Broadway, Monash Guarantee, etc): N/A

Do I have a good shot with UAdel or Flinders? Like not only getting the interview offer but is it competitive enough to get in? Also, what universities do you think I could get in with my okay score?

Being rural, and with that UCAT, you are in very good standing.

It's primarily based on your Year12 school. It being overseas you are a domestic applicant but considered as interstate to all the med/dent schools.

Hi guys,
I just completed the UCAT for 2024 and wanted to know which medical schools/ dental schools in Australia I could be eligible for. I got a 2900 score and my ATAR is 99.3. I currently live in South Australia. I just hope my score is just competitive enough to land an interview.

Hi, I did my UCAT today. Was wondering if I could maybe get any interviews? Maybe WSU with GWS?

Other Special Considerations:
GWS, was UNSW gateway last year but I don’t think that’ll apply.

Just got a 2990. Much lower than my average in mocks.
Going to to do a full work week of rural volunteering in a hospital. 99.75 ATAR. Any chance with UNSW as a local? And does JCU use ATAR or GPA for non-standards?
