It's highly unlikely that you would get JMP since the cutoff for it will likely be >3200 for non-rurals this year. If I were you I would do a bit of preparation for WSU instead since you're much closer to the GWS cutoff

Ok that sunds fine, but idk the percentiles may not go high or drop done a little as it depends on the cohort but yep your right since the cutoffs and percentiles are most likely to go up. Also regarding for WSU Med, I know 5.9 GPA is a threshold and also like it really depends on how everyone does overall, plus since cut offs are increasing idk if I should keep hope for med yet... maybe just wait end of October if I get an interview

Also regarding GPA, does WSU look at my overall final GPA or my highest of my multiple GPA... im sorta confused about that? cuz my overall GPA is 6 however like i think it may got down to 5.92 cuz my course is getting really hard... so but wait if one of my semester I ended with a 6.66 GPA and other one like say 5.8GPA will they consider the one with 6.66 GPA since they consdier highest GPA for GWS students?

I don't believe that's the case. The cutoff last year for non-rurals was 3110; it would be a huge jump to go above 3200. Even 3160+ is on the upper end.
Note: this happened on 2022 to 2023 where the cutoff jumped from 3000 to 3100 but it would be unlikely to have another jump like that considering the higher percentiles i.e. 3000 to 3100 is not the same as 3300 to 3400 (exaggerated but you get the point).

The cutoff was indeed 3160 last year. JMP is one of the only med programs that actually publicise their specific requirements (ATAR + UCAT reqs), and in the rejection emails for 2024 entry they clearly stated a 3160 cutoff was in place.

Secondly, the cutoff in 2022 was 3100 (not 3000). You can find this information online through a quick search. The JMP cutoffs have been increasing by 60 each year for the past 4(!) years (2980 -> 3040 -> 3100 -> 3160), why would it suddenly decrease?

Either the post you're referring to was a rural applicant or they forgot to mention they were rural, or some other circumstance. Obviously there is absolutely no harm in applying but unfortunately it's wishful thinking at best.

The %ile Calculator for last year was online until UCAT took it down a few days ago.

We can check back in the Interview invites data thread : 90%ile 3000 - 92%ile 3040 - 94%ile 3080 - 96%ile 3140 - 98%ile 3280.
3330 would've been at the border 98%ile to 99%ile.

I meant the Uni year admission cycle by 2022 for 2023. However, the students would have done their UCAT exams during 2021 2022. (Edited by A1).

3110 places you around 94-95%ile.
Being Vic local you definitely will get Monash interview. With Monash Guarantee boosting to 99.95 you have like 70-80% chance of a place offer i.e. don't tank the MMI badly.

If you get 99.5+ UNSW interview is likely. Not sure if UQ is possible since I heard UQ now has higher cutoff for interstate too. No other UCAT school looks possible.

Okay since JMP is now out of reach for me cuz as per trend it is going up by 60, I shall only focus on WSU cuz 730 may get me in. Also do they take highest GPA from like multiple gpa i have for the term? So if one term I have a gpa of 6.67 and other term I got 5.58 do they only consider the 6.67 or do they consider the final cumulative gpa after doing all my units?

Where'd you find this figure for the interstate cutoff for last year? Looking at the interview invite data collection post, I can see a 3240 from NSW getting an interview. Also one of the posts said that their teacher received stats from UQ saying the cutoff was 3220 last year.
