Also do they take highest GPA from like multiple gpa i have for the term? So if one term I have a gpa of 6.67 and other term I got 5.58 do they only consider the 6.67 or do they consider the final cumulative gpa after doing all my units?
GPA isn't counted term-by-term. Multiple GPAs is when you have completed or done multiple degree programs, in which case the best is used.

If you've done 2-3 terms of a study program the 2-3 terms are combined into one GPA (i.e. total of the individual units' grade points divide by the 2-3 terms' number of study units).

I had a friend last year who got a 3150 ucat (non-rural,NSW) and got an interview for JMP even tho the cutoff is 3160. Is it possible that JMP may sometimes invite those who got just below the cutoff to interviews still?

Wait I’m a bit confused. I thought cutoff for JMP last year was 96% but how did some people who are GWS NSW(assuming non rural) get an interview with a ucat below cutoff?

Hi everyone. I'm Year 12 now and just got my Ucat results. I'm not sure what predicted ATAR is but this is the score i got from a calculator to work out the ATAR from the composite subjects study scores. From the comments, i'm a bit worried I won't get into my 1st preference Monash because of my eventual ATAR.

I just want to get into medical school (open to CSP, BMP, ERC) - Any medical school in Australia. How should i rank my VTAC choices? From the comments, is it correct my best chances are GWU/JMP? Or should i rank BMP and ERC Monash above interstate unis?

sorry if this is already covered elsewhere. thank you.

Please note:

1. I have corrected WSU cutoffs last year to 740 GWS - 780 NSW - 820 interstate
(I earlier wrote 730 / 760 / 800, partly due to my poor memory partly because the then
formula by MSO was close but not exactly matching WSU's (2xVR +Total) / 6 ).

2. From here on everyone please post your data in this format by DrLMG, thanks.
(Anyone not doing so will be utterly ignored haha).

Does this mean my WSU score of 745 is unlikely?

We get very few UWA/Curtin interviews posted up to know in details.

I saw this non-rural UWA interview with 98.5 & 78%ile 2820, don't know if that was the norm or an exception

You should get interviews from Monash, UQ, JMP, Adelaide.

No UNSW due to ATAR, WSU unlikely due to 786 weighted, UWA unlikely, Curtin unknown due to CASPER.

You submit separate applications for these schools^ - thru VTAC for Monash, thru UAC for WSU/JMP.
So you won't need to rank preferences of Monash against interstate unis.

hey how long has your friend been studying for the ucat like total months and then total hours?

(Beware however, I vaguely remember SATAC or Flinders introduced a new rule 2-3 years ago that they no longer give the UES to Year12-resit applicants. Check with them whether you fall under this category, hope not).
Hey A1 I just wanted to clarify what you meant by this.

I thought this rule was concerning those year 12 resit applicants that enrolled in a school under UES scheme (ie you can no longer qualify for UES using this)

Afaik I am not doing this. I enrolled to sit WACE as a non-school candidate so this means I am not repeating year 12 through a school such as Cyril Jackson etc. (just sitting the final exams and that's all).

Edit: I am still waiting on confirmation from UWA to see if I still retain Broadway status this year but I believe they said it is fine as long as I am not repeating through a school (because this loophole has been closed in WA too 😂) so anyways I thought this was the case in SA

Predicted ATAR:
99.5+
No Rurality
State: NSW
Other Special Considerations:
(inc. GWS, EAS, indigenous pathway, Broadway, Monash Guarantee, etc): Maybe GWS, I need to clarify.
What UNIs could I apply to and have a decent chance?
Thanks!

You are correct this rule won't apply to you.
I knew of it but didn't remember the exact detail, so alerted you to check to be sure.

This is what UES says > Adjustment factors – SATAC
"If you have already achieved an ATAR from a non-qualifying school and then enrol in a qualifying school to improve your ATAR you will not be eligible for school-based equity adjustments."
i.e. no UES adjustments to those who, after obtaining an ATAR, switch from a regular school to a disadvantaged school.

If you indeed achieve ATAR 99.5+ you should get UNSW interview.
Your WSU-weighted score is 748 WSU is likely if GWS, not enough if non-GWS.

JCU is possible. Unfortunately 3110 doesn't look enough for JMP or the interstate schools.

I was just wondering whether my scores were competitive enough for a first-round interview at Monash university and what my chances were at interstate medical unis such as JMP or UNSW. (Preferably undergraduate courses)

Thanks for the help.

I just wanted to get some advice on my chances for JMP, JPM and UNSW?

Do they consider me as an ACT applicant or a NSW applicant for JPM?

Thanks, everyone for the valuable information sharing and help.
