Hi guys, just to clarify UAC preferences won't affect if I get an offer or not for either JMP or JPM? I could have either first or second but if I were to do enough to get into either one I would get an offer either way?

UAC is computerised and it will give you the highest offer you qualify for, right away.

Yep therefore preference based on what you want the most, if you want closest to Sydney etc [Put WSU first then JMP etc]

Yes, you can unenroll from a degree at any time.

Are you talking about the requirement for provisional entry students or graduate entry students?

Grad entry student requirement will change every year and depends on GAMSAT and interview score. The last I checked, there were no alterations in GPA requirement between UQ and non-UQ grad entry applicants given GPA is no longer a hurdle but actively contributes to ranking for place offers.

Your answer will be found in the GEMSAS guide for the year that you apply, though, as entry requirements are subject to change each year.

IB results came out overnight, should I go back and edit my interview data to put in my actual ATAR or just leave it as it was predicted? I did a bit better than my school predicted, they had me at 97.90 but I got 99.10. Hoping this improvement will help me get further up the list with UQ and JCU.

If you received your interview on the basis of predicted ATAR rather than actual ATAR, leave it as is please

Bachelor of Medical Science at University of Sydney and Bachelor of Biomedicine at University of Melbourne. I think both of these courses do have CSP available?

Okay, that’s better. Unfortunately 99.85 won’t make you eligible for either. USyd requires 99.95 plus an interview, while the CSP pathway at UniMelb requires 99.90, from memory.

I’m no longer considering Direct Pathway at Sydney but doing a medicine-related bachelor degree (Bachelor of Medical Science) then apply again postgrad. Is there a way to check if I’m eligible for CSP pathway for this degree?

You will have to apply via graduate entry at the time. You’d be eligible, as a portion of these places will be CSP, but there would be no guarantee as it would be based on whatever the USyd graduate pathway application criteria were at the time (currently: GPA hurdle, GAMSAT, and interview performance).
