Nevermind the second question, I read the dent forumIts like 5.5 thereabouts? My ATAR was 99.05. Another question, can non-standards apply interstate as well (e.g. adelaide etc.)
follow the official UCAT calculator. The MedEntry calculator uses a theoretical normal distribution, and while the UCAT is normal distribution-like, it does not exactly line up, hence why you get a 89%ile instead of a 90%ile. tl;dr follow ucat anz website.Applying for: Medicine

Specific Question: What are my chances for interview? Also as per the med entry website 2830 sits in the 90% percentile but the calculator score returns 89%. Not sure which one is correct.

Specific Question: Do you think I am doing the correct thing by not bothering to apply to UNSW? Also I am convinced I won't get a WSU interview based on my SJ, to say I neglected it (to the point I skipped all the questions in my mocks) after I heard the JMP wasn't going to bother with it is an understatement, and now I am kicking myself.

Specific Question: Still scrape in for an interview as rural? My rural eligibility is only from post schooling, but still meets the 5 years consecutively.
Very high chances you will get an interview with both schools. I remember section1 cutoff for JMP rural was as low as 52 (mid-50s %ile). Last year several rurals got WSU interviews then offers with low-70s %ile as shown in the collated data
> Aus Med and Dent Place Offers 2019 - Collated Data
You should also apply to JCU, being RA3 plus 6.7 GPA will give very good chances. Good luck.
