Another question again sorry, is it true that UNSW is looking at actual ATARs instead of predicted ATARs for the first time this year?

Thank you very much for your help, I appreciate it. Yeah I sat gamsat in March but I feel like UCAT is a better exam for me. But i will continue to give it all a shot. One of them should work out eventually! Im also building up my portfolio so i might be able to snag an interview in the future with gamsat.Medicine: You should get an interview at Curtin. JMP and WSU interviews are unlikely but not completely improbable - definitely worth a shot. If you have the money you would get a psychometric testing invite at Bond, and you could apply to JCU as well (interview invite contingent on the quality of the written application).
Dentistry: You could snag a Griffith offer if you’re VERY lucky - the cutoff has wavered around the 6.7-6.8 mark in the past few years. JCU again would be worth an application. You could get an Adelaide interview if you’re very lucky too. For UQ your UCAT is probably too low unfortunately. I’ll leave the other dent schools to Yamster.
If undergraduate entry doesn’t work out, have you considered graduate entry? I’m happy to answer questions about that too if you’re considering that as a future option. Good luck with your application!![]()

Specific Question: What are my chances of getting an interview at any med school? Especially at JMP/UNSW//WSU? Should I spend money on applying through the interstate Admissions Centres? If my ATAR does not improve, should I focus on trying to get into Physiotherapy instead, and getting in as a non-standard or through postgraduate? Would it be better if I did Exercise Physiology which has fewer job prospects but might be easier to do well in? (so it is easier to achieve a higher WAM in comparison to physiotherapy)
I'm pretty sure you haven't got a chance at a monash interview. I don't think they take your bonus points for subjects, so your atar of 97 will be taken at face value. Your UCAT is good no doubt, but Monash has historically had very high cutoffs for their interstate applicants, hovering in the high 99s for atar and 90s for ucat. UQ has historically had its cutoffs for unbonded places around a 95th for ucat and a 92nd-93rd for bonded, so you would have no trouble getting an unbonded place at UQ.Applying for: Medicine

With a 95 ATAR? What level of academic threshold does WSU set? You'll get interviews for both unis
WSU - 40% chance for place offer since you're GWS
JMP - 25% chance for place offer
Since OP is GWS the threshold required is 93.5. For Non-GWS it's 95.5With a 95 ATAR? What level of academic threshold does WSU set?
Wow I think I've grown accustomed to the 99+ requirements of Monash, UNSW etc. but it's good that some unis are shelving ATAR in favour of interview skillsSince OP is GWS the threshold required is 93.5. For Non-GWS it's 95.5
