Anyone think UQ Dent cutoff will be raised higher than 93ish? I'm starting to see some worrying trends in terms of cut-off scores for other unis, thankfully I got some offers but UQ is definitely my first choice.
I don't think it will go higher than 93rd, it has never been over 91st (UMAT) and there are no signs that it will; although you can never tell. I would be very surprised if it goes over 93rd. So I wouldn't be worried.

Hi A1
I was wondering what my chances were of a csp vs bonded offer vs no offer for Monash med. I got 3320 (99%) and likely 97-98 atar (possibly 99+ with adjustment factors)
Thanks!!

There is a massive difference between a 97 ATAR and a ‘possible’ 99+ ATAR that would make this impossible to predict. Whether you’re interstate or Victorian will also impact your chances. Given the huge variability in your predicted ATAR range, you probably need to wait and ask this question once actual ATAR is released.

I was wondering rather the difference in my chances between a 97 vs a 99 atar as a RA2 vic local
Thanks for your help :))

Oh, well that wasn’t your question! And the rural information also makes a big difference. There’s a reason we ask people to use the proper forms when completing requests such as this. Otherwise we only have part of the information.

Hello all, how likely am I to secure a place in UNSW medicine / what top % of interviewees would you estimate me to be in with a 98.40 ATAR, 95%ile and an RRMA of 4?

The ATAR/UCAT ranges of rural interviewees are much wider than non-rurals so it's more difficult to guess. I'd say you have better than 50/50 offer chance, how much better I don't know.

Thank you! Do you think this would change very much if I could push to get an ATAR of 98.95 or 99.0?

Since it's counted into the final ranking any amount of higher ATAR will increase your offer chance, but by how much I cannot say for rurals. If you can push for 99.0 then try. Don't use the reason it wouldn't change your chance much to not try.

Hi! Could anyone give me like a rough indication of the chances of a Monash interview with a 72%ile UCAT (yikes ik, compared to the results on this thread ), and a 99.9 ATAR (according to the Monash SEA's calculator), I go to an underrepresented school and am a local Vic student :)
Thanks!!

If you're non-rural I'd say unfortunately your chances aren't too great. If rural you may have a chance, though last year the lowest UMAT percentile to receive an interview offer on MSO was 76th, so you'd presume it'll be similar this year.

I suggest you check this thread for reference. While the data is from last year and using the UMAT, it's probably still the best indicator available of what scores are required.

Do you think it'd still be a possibility as I qualify for the Monash Guarantee/with the SEA's points?

172 (82nd%ile) 60/60/51, 99.10, CSP
I saw this in the Med 2019 collated page. Is there anyway to know whether this applicant is Victorian? If not, with my 99.95 equivalent atar and 86th% UCAT, I have a fair chance for an interview at least, right?

You can rest assured that they are Victorian or a rural applicant. I'd be shocked if a 99.95/86th gets you an interview as an interstate student, unfortunately.

Hey Crow, thank you for your reply. To be considered Victorian, whats the requirement? Do I need to have done year 12 in victoria, or have lived in victoria for a certain number of years, or are you considered victorian just if you put a victorian home address in the application?

As far as I’m aware you need to be a Victorian school leaver, so yes, completing Year 12 there.

Applying for: Medicine
Application Type: School leaver
Predicted ATAR/GPA: Predicted 98
UCAT Percentile Rank: 97
VR: 680
DM: 770
QR: 830
AR: 770
Total: 3050
SJ: 638
Current State: VIC
Applying to: Monash, UQ, Adelaide, UNSW
Rural Applicant: No
GWS Applicant: No
Indigenous Applicant: No
Other: SEAS, Monash Guarantee, UQ subject bonus
Specific Question: With a predicted 98 (~99.75+ according to Monash), how likely is a place offer (CSP, ERC, BMP)?

I can guarantee you will get at least UQ bonded, quite likely unbonded.
Monash 99.75+97%ile is better than 80% offer chance, I can't split it into CSP/BMP/ERC specifics.

For UNSW you might not even get an interview with 98.0. If you do get EAS for UNSW then chances depend on how many EAS points.
Adelaide is too hard to predict, usually no more than 20-30% offer chance for everyone.

Thanks. How much would my chances at Monash improve with a 99.90/99.95 selection rank?
Also, when does Monash send out interview invites?

Sure 99.90 will be better than 99.75 but I won't be more specific than better than 80% offer chance.

Google "Monash medicine important dates" you will see a list of invite/interview/offer dates.
