Specific Question: I know there's pretty much no hope here, but I want to know if getting an interview at Monash is something I should completely forget about and put out of my mind, or if there's still a tiny chance? Thanks.

Likely not, apologies. Did you apply to JCU? A good application could land you an interview.

Likely for UQ Med Invite, UQ Dent, JMP invite, depending on ATAR UNSW (99.25+), Adelaide invite.

probably not WSU, probably CSU dent interview, Monash is unlikely, as it UTAS.
Thanks so much !! I forgot to add that I can apply for EAS, and will most likely get Band 6 in 4U Maths for the bonus points, would that bolster my chances for any unis?

Considering your very rural status + great ATAR, an application to JCU would be worthwhile. Youre likely competitive for UQ, JMP, WSU, UNSW, Monash, Adelaide, and UTAS, (and probably UWA + Curtin + Griffith - although im not familiar with them and their rural scores)
hey hey thank you, do you know which part of this forum i can go to ask about UCAT cutoffs for rural students in other states outside of NSW (they seem to have lowered ATARs for rural kids but not sure about UCAT) and also how/who I ask about preferencing?

The bonus points for UQ are applied whether or not you get a B6, and will bolster the ATAR component for UQ but the interviews are given out solely on UCAT

Not sure if EAS applied for any of those, although your likely eligbly for SEAS which will bolster a flinders app if you can bring up your atar a bit

There is a preferencing thread here: Admissions Centres Preferencing: General Discussion

We have archived invites offers in the Interviews/Offers forums collated by LMG which will give you a better picture. Although, your super high atar and ucat for rural (84 is really competitive for rural) makes you a competitive applicant pretty much anywhere.

Depending on where in the 99 you are likely in the green for Griffith (99.70+), UNSW (99.25), and UWA. Interstate Monash will require a 99.90+

Based on your UCAT youre good for JMP, Adelaide med/dent, UQ med/dent, and curtin, and likely WSU.

Good luck :)

I think I have a very slight chance for Adelaide but that depends on the 50% SA quota so that's unknown. What are everyone's opinions on UQ, Adelaide dent and Flinders (if I'm lucky)?

Depending on where the 99 ends up - maybe for UNSW (99.25+), Interstate monash is out of the question, JCU (depending on application), Griffith (99.70) and Flinders (99.90/95)

You're likely good for JMP, UQ (and those bonus points will help in later parts of the application) med + dent, Adelaide dent.

EDIT: Likely for WSU - those scores would of got you an interview last year but the weighting makes it difficult to adjust to new percentiles.

Adelaide dent should be a borderline yes (last year was 86%th), maybe UAdel med because of the subquota as you said.

Unlikely for WSU, JMP, UNSW. UQ is a phat maybe, but probably out of reach as they only use ucat to select for interviews. Flinders depending if you can get that to a 99.90, or if the coin falls in your favour this year.

Likely for JMP, Adelaide, and Curtin

Unfortunatley your ATAR will make you out of reach for UNSW and Flinders. Your WSU is likely too low due to your VR, and interstate monash requires 99.90+ ATAR and 98th+ UCAT

Depending on how much of a '+' were talking about with the 99+ ATAR. The 79th percentile likely makes you inelgible for UCAT heavy uni's, but its 100% worth an application to Griffith/USC (99.70+), Flinders ( 99.75 especially with SEAS), UTAS (99.95) and JCU (~99 with a good application) if you are able to push that into the high 99s. Good luck!

Youre likely out of luck for WSU-CSU due to your UCAT. But you should be in the clear for UON-UNE, your GPA will bring up your ATAR-equivalent to 99.25 which should push you in the green for an interview at UNSW

Good for JMP, WSU, UNSW, UQ, Adelaide, UWA, and Curtin, and JCU (assuming a good application)

Griffith will need a ~99.70+, Flinders 99.90+, UTAS 99.95

Good job and good luck :) I think this might be the highest UCAT we have seen this year!
