Maybe for WSU and UNSW (if you can push the ATAR to 99.25), but you should be good for Monash, JMP, UQ (especially consider the 4 bonus points), Adelaide, and Curtin.

What are my chances?

Dent:
Uq you will be borderline, Although the score would have gotten you in last year; this year interviews for med will likely increase the dent cutoff, but in for a good shot, good luck!
UADEL interview, Borderline for UWA interview, Jcu with a good written, Griffith if 99.8+, USYD interview if 99.5+, Unimelb if 99.85+, Spot at latrobe

Applying for: Medicine
Application Type: Non-standard (1st year uni)
Predicted ATAR/GPA: 94, 6.6
UCAT Percentile Rank: 91
VR: 630
DM: 700
QR: 870

NSW
Applying to: JMP, WSU, UNSW (if there's anything other than JCU as well)
Rural Applicant: No
GWS Applicant: Yes
Indigenous Applicant: No
Other: None
Specific Question: I think I'm out of reach from UNSW because of my 94 ATAR, but do I realistically have a chance to start working for interviews for WSU? I was borderline based on last year's stats and so I'm feeling hopeless for this year's round of applications.

Thank you in advance!

Just another question if you guys don't mind. Say in the case I'd need to resit the UCAT in 2021 to get into 2022 in the event that I am unsuccessful this year, would my ATAR still be used with my GPA (50/50) as it is this year (non-standard first year uni)? Or would only my GPA be used as a non-standard second year student?

EDIT: Answered For Dent
Applying for:
Med and Dentistry
Application Type: GAP year, finished IB in 2019, retaking IB 2020 two subjects and SAT
Predicted ATAR/GPA: Achieved 96.45 in 2019, hopeful to push to 99.20 in 2020 November, also sitting SAT in October 2020

Current State: Studying in Singapore, residence in NSW, Sydney
Applying to: All Universities for Undergrad/Provisional
Rural Applicant: No
GWS Applicant:

Indigenous Applicant: No

Specific Question: I am sitting the SAT in October, should I achieve a better SAT than IB score, would that be considered instead of my IB altogether?

I have met all the subject prereqs of chemistry, mathematics and english in my IB but intend to apply with SAT if the equivalent ATAR is higher IB equivalent.

Answering now for Med:
You should receive interviews for UAdel, Curtin, UQ, UWA* and JMP (*assuming 99.00+ ATAR).
If WSU/CSU keep the same weighting you probably won't get one there, ditto for UNSW. As a non-local, you'll likely also miss out on Monash and UTas. At 99.20, your ATAR equivalent will be too low for Griffith and Flinders. JCU is always a giant unknown.

Unfortunately, I have no idea how SAT might be used.

Yes for JMP and JPM(aka WSU). Very unlikely for UNSW based on ATAR equivalent.

Best of luck!

I think Monash Guarantee is based on where you live (ie. post code). SEAS for financial disadvantage is a separate application, so make sure you do that too. Your ATAR is fabulous, so fingers crossed your UCAT is enough. SEAS makes it difficult to judge, but I'd think your chances are decent. Best of luck.

UNSW will always use your ATAR and GPA in a 50/50 regardless of how many years have passed. Assuming they've not changed things, JPM(WSU) will use whichever is higher out of your ATAR and GPA until the point you graduate with a degree (at which point they'll just use the GPA). And JMP will use GPA alone.

Yes, we believe you are eligible for all three as you are not yet technically a Medicine student (and JMP still accept you even if you are). You will get a JMP interview, and probably a UNSW one. If JPM(WSU) use the same formula as last year, I'd say you're likely to just miss out there. SCATS is only good for UNSW, I believe, so if you do qualify, that'll help you out there to a degree that is really difficult to predict as it varies.

Best of luck!
