Rural Applicant: no
GWS Applicant: no
Indigenous Applicant: no

Specific Question: Being a school-leaver, I haven't sat my HSC yet and I'm kinda doubting my chances for an interview; should I just focus on the HSC for now and leave interview prep (if i get any interviews) after it?

UNSW: No
WSU: borderline
JMP: Yes
UQ: Very hard to say given they are re-introducing interviews this year for the first time in ages. Fingers crossed!
UAdel: Probably not/borderline (they are introducing an SA quota for interviews this year, so we aren't sure how that'll affect interstate applicants)
Griffith: Maybe for USC, but probably not for Nathan/GC unless you can push to 99.70

You will definitely get a JMP interview, so it's up to you how you want to split your time, but I'd at least have a little think about interview techniques and what's involved in an MMI.

If WSU/CSU keep the same weighting you probably won't get one there, ditto for UNSW.
LMG!

I understand for WSU/CSU my VR is possibly too low for an interview invite, but UNSW I don't think has stated or is known to have UCAT section weighting. Where would I fall short with UNSW interview invites?

Rural Applicant: RA2 (I am only legible for rural entry at JMP, Adelaide, UQ, Monash)
GWS Applicant: No
Indigenous Applicant: No
Other: SEAS (moderate medical condition)
Specific Question: (if you have an additional specific question, please add it here providing as much detail/clarity as possible)

If you're RA2, you're also eligible for rural entry to UTAS which tend to be quite generous to rural applicants. They do 'rank' rurality, so your RA2 isn't quite as favourable as an RA3 or 4, but it's still worth an application, it's free so you have nothing to lose. You should also be eligible for rural at WSU(/JPM) unless they've changed something this year? RA2 is traditionally considered rural there.

You should get interviews at JMP, UAdel, Monash, UQ, and you should do a JCU application.

would I be eligible for monash guarantee with only financial disadvantage?

See the chart on page 2 > https://www.monash.edu/__data/assets/pdf_file/0006/1353912/monash-guarantee-seas-brochure.pdf

SEAS is a VTAC scheme, MG is Monash's own parallel scheme with some overlap. Financial disadvantage qualifies you for both, however you do not get any overlap bonus twice. So you may get an interview under MG's criteria, then you get *one* set of ATAR bonus for place offer ranking.

Just double checking your degree is completed? Assuming so...

Going to need to be a little bit more specific with that 99 unfortunately. But you should be able to get interviews at WSU, JMP, Adel, Curtin, UNSW (if your ATAR is at least a 99.25 that is - higher the better), Griffith if you can get it up to a 99.7 (but it seems like that's a bit far off from the nonspecific nature of your predicted), UQ should give you an interview and JCU pending a good written application. Monash is rough but you are a little far off. 99.9 with 98+%iles are needed to for interstates unfortunately. Flinders appears to be out of the question for you as well at this time. And so is UTAS considering that you are interstate.

I am in the Greater Western Sydney Area for UWS, more focused on applying for dentistry

In that case your answer to GWS Applicant should read: Yes :)

Your UCAT is likely not quite there for the UCAT requiring Med Unis with the exception of WSU(JPM) on the basis of your GWS status.
For the non-UCAT Med Unis, your ATAR is probably borderline for all except USC(/Griffith).

I'm not sure on Dent, but Cal be be along at some point to help you out there.

Specific Question: Does Monash Guarantee help enough to gain an interview especially since my UCAT is below 80th Percentile?

Monash, possible given SEAS and MG, but I'd keep your fingers crossed!
Adelaide, no
UNSW, depends on how your EAS is assessed and if it is added to UCAT, keep your fingers crossed again!
JMP, no
JPM/WSU, no
UTas, no
Flinders, you will need UES to boost you to 99.95, though 77UCAT would be borderline, I'd think
UQ, I'm not sure how the bonuses help you here, you'd need them to push up your UCAT, but often they only affect ATAR
JCU, depends on your written application

Dent and Oral Health I'll leave to Cal :)

Yep I did apply there thx. Based on the time period of when I lived there (some was done before primary school) I don't fit in for some unis specify they need it to be 5 years total consecutively after the age of 5 which means I just miss out. Given that, will I likely get a WSU interview?

Bond: Yes
UNSW: You will need to ace your ATAR
JMP: Yes
JPM(/WSU): Yes
Monash: No
UTAS: No
UAdel: Hard to say given new interview criteria. Maybe borderline
Flinders: Will need 99.95ATAR
Curtin: Yes, probably
UWA: Yes, probably

Best of luck!

Not LMG but I'd be on the fence with this one. You are very borderline and I'd be hesitant to say it's a sure.

As per their own publication, the lowest ATAR to receive an interview (with a very high UCAT to counter it) was 99.25 at UNSW last year. It is VERY rare for requirements to drop.

Yeah I scored below the 5th decile for VR, it was nerves being the first one up & let's face it, it was VERY challenging! If we could do something differently, it would be changing our UCAT testing dates. Our location & dates were moved due to the pandemic which threw us off! Not a good time Excuses ! Excuses ! Sorry I'm so frustrated !😭

To add onto this, it wasn't just a cutoff by chance due to the sheer number of applicants, but a "hard" hurdle set by UNSW themselves. They essentially removed anyone below 99.25 ATAR from consideration, no matter how high their UCAT score was: 3400, 3500 etc.
