Apart from the possible reason that WSU have not recognised you as RA2 I would challenge your rejection to the end.

Don't tell WSU anything about the MSO formula (else they will use it as reason to dismiss). Quote them the actual scores instead

Yours vs the Invite
VR: 670 vs 590
DM: 670 vs 650
QR: 650 vs 680
AR: 630 vs 640
Total: 2620 vs 2560
SJ: 635 vs 539

AR is almost the same, your QR 30 marks lower can't be enough reason for rejection. Do push them to look into it properly since we have had successful appeals/challenges before. Best of luck.

I triple checked everything the day before applications closed :(
Maybe once I receive the rejection email, I can try and see if they'd be willing to advise what could've been the underlying reason behind my application not qualifying for an interview invitation. I'm just kind of glad I don't have to live in suspense given that they didn't seem to be able to give one concrete answer to the people who reached out regarding their applications and interview offers. Its been a stressful process ahah

You may have already been asked this but... did you complete the rural stat dec and submit it and did you confirm that your RA2 status is deemed as such by JPM/WSU? We have had others report here that a recent reclassification of their RA2 location deemed them ineligible for rural pathway.

If all this is 100% confirmed, then I'm also 100% with A1 and you should pursue this further.

I just checked now and my suburb still has RA2 status based on JPM/WSU's requirements. I emailed them this arvo and requested clarification and also enquired into whether my ineligibility was due to absence of the required paperwork. Waiting to hear back from them.

This is what I got from them yesterday when I emailed about it;
Please be advised that an email will be sent by late next week regarding zoom details and further information as per the invitation letter. Please ensure you take a screen shot of the confirmation page for your records.
 
Would rejection emails be sent out now for interstate applicants? Given that they are not being sent invites until December? Just wondering how this works. Does the uni already know which interstate applicants they will be interviewing and which they will be sending rejection emails to?
 
I thought they would have to send rejections after invites, since people receive top ups as well when others decide not to attend the interview?
