On sso does it say "incomplete" for everyone for the MH03 form or is it just me...I submitted it online a few days before the cutoff but it still says incomplete. Should i be getting worried?

Nah man don't worry ^_^ mine still says incomplete as well and so does everyone else's that I talked to. The email from that lady said it would be updated sometime in November.

the admissions lady sent an email saying that the status will be updated mid-november, so i dont think we need to worry^_^

Does anyone know what courses are good for biomed second year?

thought it'd be best to start enrolling now before the courses i want become full like this year :S

Anyone have any recommendations as to what paper/year 3 options are interesting??
so far neurobiology and cellular&molecular biomedicine sounds interesting but i really hated bio101 genetics and would like to avoid classes similar to that as much as possible

and is medsci205 really that difficult as everyone's been saying?

Well I'm kind of glad that everyone else thought medsci was quite difficult, cos I definitely wasn't happy about it! I thought it would be waaay easier than it was, so I don't know, I feel quite dissapointed with myself. However, I'm pretty sure I got my goal of C- for physics! Yay!

EDIT: Yay I'm finally not a junior member anymore! Woo go 11 posts!

On that note have any of you graduates done a degree in pharmacology rather than biomed? it seems to me like it would have better career opportunities if you failed to get in as a graduate.

Plus you would already know alot about the different drugs for when you get into med

I thought MEDSCI 205 was crap, in terms of the organisation of the paper and the expectations. I really wouldn't worry about that until you hear about med though!

Wowowowowowow back up. So if I qualify for maori and pacific islander scheme I can get into me as long as I met the HSFY requirements.
EDIT: No I don't think so the page in the wiki says lower cutoffs.

From what I know you will be asked quite abit about culture and your ties to it, so they'll probably be focussing more on personality

hahahaha, I used to check it 5 times a day

Is it normal for the SSO to still say 'incomplete' for all of the required documentation at this stage? All the forms (e.g. certified academic transcripts, photo ID etc) were 'due' on November 6 but it hasn't been updated in SSO - is that the norm considering the influx of applicants they have to process?

I'm thinking of doing Bsc in biology and physiology, but taking the main biomed papers. Purely because I don't wana do biochem again hahaha and wana do something I could get decent grades to apply postgrad with. Plus I think I'd enjoy that more that continuing with biomed.

Architecture sounds interesting, got some mates doing it that love it. We have a while to decide though right? Is it 15 December when biomed papers open for enrolment?
