Interview offers

Hi there,

congratulations on all of your interview offers so far!! I was just wondering,
if you haven't heard from them by now, is there any chance of still recieving an
offer or do you think they've all been sent out by now?

I last heard that they hoped to have them all sent out by Thursday so if you don't get one by say 6pm tonight, I would call the office tomorrow and double check. I actually know of someone (many years ago now) who was never invited for interview, when she phoned up about it it turned out someone had rung up and pretended to be her and said she didn't want the interview. Luckily she checked and in fact got a position after the interview....

Well Roger Booth was suppose to come to freshers but he was ill so he instead 'supposedly' gave us our interview scores to be displayed on a board, later turning out to be false :P

Good luck to all, give it your best shot and arrive early to OGGB if you think it'll calm you down.
 
DONE!!!!! with interview :D long wait now till the 21st :P

Sounded enjoyable, relaxing and not at all like your stereotypical interview. Bet that's a good thing haha.

Indeed, Good Luck for your interview on Tuesday! (if i remember correctly). Dont forget to check out the interview resources on MSO, they were of great help to me :)

That's great! If you were in the morning then I must have seen you, any other members going to be at interviews?
Also, there aren't 80 different interviewers, some of them do sessions again on other days, some only come for half the day so it really depends
Interview scores are out of 10 and this is confirmed, although I don't know how they actually calculate the score to be out of 10
Hope to see some of you guys next week!
P.s is there some other site as well where auckland pre-med kids discuss interviews etc, or is this the only site
Another page I know of is called pagingdr.com but only a handful of kiwis are on that

I'm not aware of any other forum. Paging Dr is predominantly a forum for graduate entry Australian med schools, so not really that relevant to applicants to NZ schools.

Yes, I guess pagingdr is only good for grads that are reapplying to NZ med schools as well as sitting GAMSAT for Australia
I just wanted to make sure that I could help out as many people as possible with their questions, so MSO it is :)
