I didn't coz several people at MSO already did and apparently, they are rolling out invites still, as can be seen above where a person got an interview invite today. I might give them a call tomorrow afternoon or next week if I don't receive any correspondence from them.
 
Did anyone end up getting a invite? I called them today and now they’re saying this week or early next week?! And that dentistry is v competitive and it takes time or smthing lol

I haven't heard anything from them yet :/. Next week is so late! Especially because people already got them a week ago! I'm so confused. Do they mean we might get invites if people decline theirs? Or there are still spots but they just haven't finished going through the list?

Honestly I’m not sure anymore. They just keep saying check ur inbox or whatever, and wait, with no other real update. Perhaps you can call them and ask to specifically check ur file and see if ur elgiable for a invite then, maybe that might work.

Yeah I might wait till around 4 today and if I don't hear anything I'll do that! I also sent an email as well to follow up on my application.

I think this is the case for CSU. I think they might have already sent out all offers to those who made the initial cut-off. CSU generally is a bit poor with communication with cut-offs as the student team don't really understand the critera. There might be a quota like Medicine now has which might be worth just checking on the assessment page.

This is from my memory but I think it was [ 50-60 course offers] 150 interview offers last year. Might be wrong but I'm assuming this is including rural students

Yeah I agree! Except its very odd as I should have received an invite as I have met all the requirements on the website for a current CSU student.

That is a bit strange, is it a guarantee if you get a 5.5+ that you get an interview ? [Is it not competitive based on GPA of other applicants] that's what I thought the case was in prior years because then I'm assuming the majority of interviewed applicants would be CSU students which isn't the case at least before.

This is what CSU says on its websites

"Selection for interview
Domestic students: Applicants who are current Charles Sturt students
Interviews will be granted to current Charles Sturt student who meet the following criteria:
  • Enrolled in any Charles Sturt course at the time of application
  • have completed a minimum of 6 standard subjects by the end of the academic year of application, with a GPA of 5.5 or better."
Note they say Will be granted not You are eligible for interview selection. The schools are so inconsistent with their info this year, must be the COVID fatigue effects.

EtA: Is it possible CSU is holding back daisy77 until her 2nd semester results are known?

Possibly the case, but it does say they would grant the interview invitation based on first semester results and then the course offers would be conditional (if we meet the 5.5 gpa after sem 2 results are released).
Hopefully they just haven’t released all the invites yet. I did call yesterday and the lady also said it would be a few weeks which is very strange.
 
Hey guys,
The CSU student profile for last year states they had a total of 25 students commence in 2021. This seem quite low? Course profiles

Do we know how many spots they have available for 2022?
