CSU CSU Dentistry: Q&A and General Discussion

Hi, for those who did recieve an interview invite, after booking your interview, did you get any sort of confirmation email. Just wanted to check because I didn't get one, but I definitely booked!

I ended up getting an interview invite!
So did you receive the invite today, or has it been in your Spambox all this time haha. If just today did CSU explain why so late?

I wonder if 3300+99.95's 94%ile has also got one vs LJess94's 92%ile invite. If not then maybe CSU has different cutoffs for Y12 vs non-standard.

Interesting concept - perhaps non standard combined with GPA or something. No idea

I've received a rejection email for an interview invite- with a 95th percentile UCAT and 7.0 GPA, was it unreasonable that I was expecting an invite? Does the UAC preference matter when interview invites are in consideration? (I had CSU dent as my 4th preference)

Bruh i still haven't gotten any email. I called them and they were like its an error on the faculties part or something. That is so weird.

If it helps my preference was 3rd. I don’t think it should matter but it looks like this year it does 🤷‍♀️

idek if that's the case, because I had it 3rd preference, and I had 3010 ucat, and like there's nothing in my email.

And interview bookings close today, so like nice.

Either way preference shouldn’t matter for school leaver or non standard as I’m a non standard with 3010 UCAT and 2nd preference and still got rejected so idk

Yeah I have no idea
I wish CSU has someone like JMP's Ms Sue who readily tells us the cutoffs for each category, so that applicants can verify their cases.

Very convenient for CSU to say they won't provide individual feedback, but then how can we verify CSU is being fair to all applicants!

Yes. Considering what is at stake and the effort that has been put in by applicants, it seems only fair they be told the cut offs so they can ensure no errors were made.
