Does anyone know how many non-standards applicants get interview offers for the 15-20 spot?
I would say around 80. By looking at the number places and the number of (1st, 2nd round) interview offers, it seems every uni invites 4* actual available places(just approximately) .

That seems reasonable enough given the number of spots available.
There have not been many non standard interview offers recorded on this forum, with the exception of one or two. Did anyone recieve any offers today at all?

Anyone here aiming to get into UWA? Seems there's hardly any information regarding interview offers or previous years' cut offs. Please help~~~~

Although I've heard that offers should be coming out after WACE, if so today is the last day. Am I being too paranoid and should wait until next week!?!?!

I'm positive (local) applicants will hear from UWA this coming week. Interviews start early December and they need to give you sufficient notice to book interview time make travel arrangements etc so can't be far off.

Last year an MSOer got a place offer with 99.8 & 84%ile, doesn't mean that was the cutoff but can be used as a guide. If you have mid-high 99s you can expect an interview with mid-80 Umat, if low 99s then probably 90+%ile.

Edit: Thanks Bala for the post below. Being from WA I was only thinking in view of WA applicants.

I saw somewhere that interstate will receive their offers only in 3rd week of December.

Does anyone know what date non-standard applicants get offers for JMP? Interviews are 23rd/27th of Jan and semester 1 starts a month later so getting accomodation will be tricky. Probably should apply for accomodation now but not even sure if i'll get in and if i do, whether it'll be UoN or UNE :/

That seems most likely, thank you!

UPDATE: I couldn't stand waiting so I decided to call the UWA Admissions Office asking them when offers are expected to be out, and I've been told that they are trying to email them all out today for locals. GOOD LUCK TO ALL HOPEFULS!!

Were any interview offers received from UWA this afternoon?
Do they notify the (round 1) applicants who were not successful ?
How many rounds (interviews) does UWA actually have, December and January (Jan - based on actual ATAR?)?

I got an interview for UWA for medicine, dentistry and pharmacy and Curtin for medicine
Non-rural, Local
Umat: 57,61,68 for 94%ile
Predicted atar: 99.55

UQ or UWA for a school leaver? Opinions. Don't they offer the same degree with similar requirements?

UQ is 7 years, UWA is 7 years with an option for 6 years if you do UWA's MedSc for the undergrad degree. Both give you an AMC-accredited degree however apart from comparing the courses, the unis, student life, cost of living etc you should also consider where you want to work later on because you are more likely to end up with an internship in the state you study.

First round place offers about 20th Jan and second round the first week of Feb. If for residential college I suggest you apply now to both campuses and cancel if you don't get an offer there (the colleges are well accustomed to this practice). For private rental probably best to leave until you know of an offer.

Just checking there was no need to reply to anything for the JMP interviews right?? Just turn up at the registration time, etc?
