Other Information: I got an email from uq saying they may do second round offers if people reject, so there is a chance, since uq bondeds cutoff was 184 this year.

This is promising then because we’ve already had multiple people indicate their intention to decline UQ for direct entry offers elsewhere. It would be a shift in what we’ve seen from UQ previously, though. Best of luck!

Could I ask when you received that e-mail? I got a 184 on UMAT and had the OP 1 cut-off (through bonus points) but wasn't accepted by UQ for bonded and haven't received an e-mail either expressing any chance of second round offers! Should I check with QTAC that they've entered all of my information correctly to QTAC?

If there are multiple people with the cut-off UMAT, I believe UQ use S1 as a tie-breaker. What was your S1 score?

I believe it was 65

The thing that I'm more worried about is that I didn't receive an e-mail regarding the possibilities of second round offers whilst u/Soham did. I've contacted both QTAC and UQ and I'm currently composing an e-mail to UQ asking whether the correct information was given to them (e-mail, QTAC, etc.)

Just had an amazing interview at UNSW that should rank quite well. However, my UMAT is extremely low (91%ile) and ATAR is decently good (99.85), anyone have information on how high exactly do I have to rank in interview to receive a CSP offer? What about BMP? I genuinely believe that the interview was really good, but it would be a bit of a shame to let my UMAT drag me down at this point. Any info would be appreciated, cheers!

This is the exact mail I recieved from UQ:

Dear Soham,
The number of applicants for the provisional MD pathway has increased significantly from last year. As a result, the thresholds have jumped up several points this year.

The cut offs for the 2019 intake are:

CSP: 189:67
BMP: 184:69
Rural: 158:51

While it is possible for later round offers to be released for the provisional MD intake, it is not guaranteed. So you are welcome to keep a provisional MD as one of your higher preferences, but we cannot provide you with any assurance that we will be making any additional offers for this pathway's 2019 intake.
 
Hey guys! I got a BMP med offer at Monash which I am accepting !! I just wanted to clarify ... is my return of service 12months?? I've read online that sometimes its equivalent to the duration of your course so in my case (5 yrs). On the BMP email it clearly says 12 months but i just wanted to clarify. Thanks in advance :)

It is indeed one year. It used to be 5 years and will be 3 years following 2020.

For UNSW, you didn’t succeed in the interview? For UWS, you are in the reserve list?
 
Did not get the offer from UNSW on January 11th but in UAC, it still shows as "Eligible - subject to being competitive."
Does that mean I still have a chance in the next round offer on 25th?

I live in Sydney and have accepted UQ and I will be travelling next week to Brisbane to find my accommodation

Hi is it okay to ask what your ncea results were?
How many e credits did you get overall?
 
How likely am I to get a 2nd/3rd/etc. round offer at Adelaide or Flinders with an ATAR of 99.70 and UMAT score in the 96th percentile (62, 58, 70)? I felt the interview went quite well, but it's hard to tell.
