Offer Received: yes
University: adelaide
UMAT: 99%, 201

ATAR or GPA: 99.50
Special Considerations: none

Offer Type: csp
Other Information: Will probably decline as I have an offer from uq and I'd like to apply to wsu and unsw next year to be in nsw. Also still waiting for monash offers to come out.

Unfortunately, there appears to have been very little movement on the tertiary transfer front. While we’ve seen additional offers and BMPs upgraded to CSPs for rural and school leaver categories, there’s been nothing for TT. Given TT applicants are already UAdel students, I’d imagine they are far less likely to decline an offer than those in other categories.

There’s nothing to be gained by moving your CSP/BMP preferences, either. Best of luck for a top up.

Do you know if I would be competing against TT only? or if a spot opened up and my scores were better than a school leaver would I get the offer instead?

Possibly, but the school leaver requirements for interview were already much higher than they were for TT. This would place school leavers that interviewed at an indirect advantage over TT applicants with lower UMATs if the two were to be competing for the same spot.

I’m also not sure how UAdel compare GPA and ATAR. It’s possible they don’t, and they consider applicants entirely seperately (my guess).

Not sure if this one will count, but just recieved a call from UNSW offering a top up place at port maq if I didn't have anything else lined up?

It's not too late. Not just Griffith but other unis have made offers 1-2 weeks after semester starts, thanks to a few idiots who accepted their offers then don't turn up, or quickly withdraw like I did.

Last GU top-up offer we saw here was 99.65, if you are close to that mark it does no harm to call GU Med (not Admissions) to let them know you are keenly interested.

Just wondering, if I have already started a semester/university and this happens, could I just quit my current uni and join GU?

Yes, definitely. As long as it’s before census date (which it would be for GU to still be making top ups), then you’d just withdraw from your current uni and enrol at GU without penalty.

Congratulations to everyone who got an offer!! For those of you still waiting, best of luck :)
I just wanted to say thank you to all the awesome members of MSO. The support and guidance you have given everyone this year (and every year) does not go unappreciated.
Thank you so so much, everyone!

Would Monash indicate in the first offer letter whether it is a CSP / bonded placement or do they inform of the bonded placement later?
In other words Just CSP means it is a non bonded placement??

Does anyone know if an unbonded offer for Adelaide could be given out during the 2nd round to those that have already been offered bonded places?

Just received an offer for Monash through the interstate offer rounds! Accepting!

Yes, generally that is the case.

This is good news. My friend, however, who got the interview but did not get an offer from Monash:

Offer Received: NO

Contrasting these two offers shows how important the interview component is.
