I 100% do not wish this to happen to you but just in case. Last year I got the same email which turned out to be an alternate offer for BMedRes not Med.
Hope you have logged in to verify it is Med, and if so... Congrats.
That would be SO cruel...

It could happen this way because some BMedRes places give assured entry to Med in 3 years time. UTas says you cannot apply for these places, they are by offers only to those who just fail to make the Med cutoff, thus UTas can offer one to you even though you didn't apply for.
Will UTAS accept OP 7 (QLD) equivalent to ATAR of 87 for admission?? Anyone has got any historical information??
Given you're not a Tas school leaver, I'd think the minimum ATAR of 95.0 statement would mean 87.0 is very unlikely, but I don't have any definite data on that. Adding to this, the few interstate students who got offers in November had the condition that they reached the 95.0 minimum actual ATAR attached to them.
Went and instantly uploaded mine haha! However, it doesn't make sense that they could release ANY offers without knowing the overall ranking for all candidates. So even if yours was processed earlier, your offer would have had to wait until all candidates (in your category) were ranked before any offers could go out, right? And surely they're using an automated system that would release offers to eligible candidates within a certain category all at once, right? That seemed to be what happened for rural interstate school leavers.Thought it might be helpful to note that I uploaded my unofficial grade transcript to the UTAS application page right after this semesters uni results were released on the 9th. It could be that this made it easier to process my application sooner... just a thought.
I was wondering if everyone in this group has a student Id generated on their utas application? Appreciate your response.
I'd be interested to know if rural offers and regular offers are sent out differently. Does the RAP office work independently to some extent in determining who gets offers, when, and in what order, or is it all centralised? How does a student know their offer was based on their RAP application and therefore they're automatically assigned the Rural Clinical School for years 4&5? Is this made clear so it can be factored into offer acceptance, particularly for those fortunate enough to get multiple offers?
Marypoppins, any chance you could weigh in on this? Is it obvious from your offer that you've been accepted via the RAP, or is it possible yours is a regular offer?
Definitely accepted through the Rural pathway as it was a conditional offer under the "Rural Application process". I am presuming that at some stage they will formally say I have met the conditions (which have been met). I am only guessing that that means the placements will be at the Rural Clinical Schools. Other than that I know nothing. I am watching as well waiting to see if you guys are all as successful as I hope you are. Come on UTAS!!!)
Does that mean most offers will come out by 20th as someone has said...Rural or non-rural or interstate ?Definitely accepted through the Rural pathway as it was a conditional offer under the "Rural Application process".
