In UTAS, do you get Bonus point for Language , rural or interstate??
Just rural or ATSI. But it's a whole different pathway you have to apply to in addition to the standard application, so if you've not done that, those things won't be considered.

What will happen if there is a conditional offer but your ATAR is low?
Thanks for the update dimsimsi!
I could see the changes on my mobile.
LMG, is your current student number 6 digits?
Ricky89 and w_akimm_z, have your applications changed?
If a few more 'No's' were to crop up we may still be on to something. Otherwise Littlebitsofgood's "No" could just be an anomoly.
Does anyone else find it odd only 2 confirmed offers have been reported so far? I thought standard applicants were just as well represented on this forum as non-standards...
Hey, first time posting on this forum so still figuring it out. I am an interstate non-standard applicant and have not had my application changed, although could it be to do with when university results are finalised? They may not start processing your application until this is done? The final results release date for my uni is 2nd December so I will check back then. However, I am not that hopeful about a place this year due to my UMAT score. I emailed them a couple of weeks ago and they said they would be releasing offers from December right through until O-week...
University: UTAS
Offer: No
Applicant Type: Non-standard
Interstate: Yes
ATAR/GPA: 7.0
UMAT: 174 / 84th percentile 67/59/48
Rural: No
Ok, maybe it could be to do with those receiving first round offers. Good luck everyoneWe aren't at all sure what the change in study status/generation of a student number means (if anything). That said, other non-standard applicants whose results have not been released yet have had their details changed, so it doesn't appear linked to results release.
Actually I just changed my postal address and now it has changed my status and given me a student number..We aren't at all sure what the change in study status/generation of a student number means (if anything). Interstate...why?Are you from Tassi or interstate?
I
Interstate...why?
If it's not higher than 95, then your offer is revoked I believe. That's what conditional offer is!What will happen if there is a conditional offer but your ATAR is low?

Totally disagree. It is relaxing to know you have an offer. It means you avoid possibly 6 weeks of hell waiting to see if medicine is available to you. Presumably you and the school have a fair idea of your end result. Much less stress.. Why the hell they give such offer. They could offer it properly after the HSC results!!

Usually the predicted ATAR is somewhat close to what the true ATAR will be, it won't be completely off. So with the conditional offer and if you know you'll defs be getting >95, you can pretty much enjoy your holidays knowing you'll be in med next year!. Why the hell they give such offer. They could offer it properly after the HSC results!!
Only two people have reported receiving offers in this thread; both rural interstate standard.Hey guys, congrats to everybody that got an offer! How exciting!
If you're a non standard student, would you mind posting your GPA and UMAT scores? Would be super helpful
Best of luck to everyone waiting!!
Oh I see, sorry! I mentioned mine earlier in the thread but:Hey Littlebitsofgood, I know I just had a bit of a look through the forum, but I was wondering where the non standards were sitting at the moment just to get an idea![]()
Now, I'm unsure what will happen if I accept the offer. Provided I get the ATAR, if I got an offer somewhere else, and would prefer to attend that uni, can I just withdraw from UTAS? Are there penalties (say a payment)? I'm guessing that it should be fine, but I'm just unsure.
