As a rural applicant you are in an incredible position and really will probably have your pick of most of the universities that you have rural eligibility for, pending your interview performance of course. The SJT probably won't come in handy, except for tiebreaker situations or the off chance that UWA ends up using it to select their applicants instead of interviews. Monash is looking great with rurality status, JMP will depend on your interview performance but you'll definitely be getting one!

WSU - you'll be borderline for an interview most likely, it will be touch and go. Interested to hear why you don't have rural status at WSU but you do at other unis, though - I didn't think they assessed rurality differently to the others? (I might just be forgetting something very obvious)

UNSW - this will depend on how high your ATAR goes, obviously the higher into the 99s the better your chance of an interview and offer.

JCU depends on written application, Griffith will depend on how high your ATAR goes into the 99s, same with Flinders. Good luck :)

UQ interview hard to say as not sure how low UCAT will drop as this is first year, but possibly

I was under the impression that they use your GPA if your +1 FTE of study, but i could be wrong.

This wording in the 2019 guide (https://www.westernsydney.edu.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0007/1482046/AOS_2019_Medicine_LR.pdf) makes me think they will take the GPA
Selection to the medical program is on the basis of: academic merit (ATAR or its equivalent (e.g. IB/ A Levels), for those without a completed degree; Grade Point Average (GPA) in their most recent degree, for graduate applicants);

I'm in the second year of my three year degree... so I should be able to use my ATAR right? I don't count as a graduate applicant...i think

Under 1 year or more like what dotwingz said. I know you are a GWS applicant but it seems that under the website for GWS they don't make a difference in terms of academic requirement for non-standards. Best to email and check.

89th is a bit wobbly. You'd be borderline (closer to a no with the way that UAdel is switching things up) for UAdel, and also for JPM and JMP. That combination seems a little low for UWA interstaters, but possible that you might get a Curtin invite. Combo is a little weak for UNSW as well. Monash is definitely out of the picture, though UQ you should be able to get an invite though. JCU depends on the application and Flinder's is completely out of the question, as is UTas as well. Griffith is out as well, your ATAR is low. Your best bet right now is JMP (very borderline), JPM and maybe Curtin.

From your stats, it seems like UWA is a no, curtin is a maybe airing on the side of no, UAdel is a maybe on the side of a yes (last year you would have qualified but this year they are rejigging their intakes to favour SA students so it's possible that the cutoff might rise), flinders is a no, as is UTas. UNSW is a no, WSU is borderline, JMP is a maybe (but they are also rejigging their intakes for non-standards so its possible cutoffs might rise as well). You'll probably get an interview to UQ, JCU pending application, and a no for griffith. Summary, very borderline airing on the side of yes for UAdel, WSU and JMP but we will have to wait and see because some of those unis are mixing things up. UQ is a yes, curtin is a maybe and pretty much everything else is a bit of a no.
