You can overload subjects, - given your ATAR is high you should be able to get an exemption in semester 1 this year.

anyone heard of third round offers yet? there were a few declines of second round offers on here too. Is it possible they just dont send any more and reserve it for their graduate entry or something?
Is BSc more flexible in the sense that one can also choose to study other scientific areas, or a language?Programs and Courses - The University of Queensland

They do have the same courses. I recommend BSc because its a million times more flexible and can do anything BBiomedSc does
Hi! I was involved in the Premedical Society (Check us out!) last year and graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Science last year (2019) too, so I might be able to help you clarify. As has been explained below, ther BSc (Majoring in Biomedical Science) and BBiomedSci are virtually the same degree since you do the same courses. BBiomedSci is generally considered 'unfavourable' since it offers no significant advantage but does lock you into some extra courses and requirements for second and 3rd year courses (for example, 2nd year Genetics, which I personally didn't want to do). This is different to pre-2015ish, where the BBiomedSci was a different degree that locked you into a 4th honours year (which you don't need to do as a premed, unless you want).
The BSc does give the option of dual majoring (for example, Biomedical Science and Immunology/Virology), which one of my friends did. Note you might want to chat to an academic advisor about this, since you'll need to plan out your units later on in a specific order to fulfill the requirements. BBiomedSci will essentially lock you into a more rigid set of courses. Either way it's an easy administrative task to swap between the two, and the only difference is the letters after your name.
Tldr: Do the BSc it's more flexible
DM me if you have any questions!
I emailed Admissions informing them of my enrolment from my personal email, didn't get a response and chased them up a week later on my student email, which they responded the same day (???). They let me know that they removed me from the Provisional Entry and my first degree, and to contact QTAC to advise them of the change - just a quick form on the contact bit of their website!I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I wanted to ask if anyone knew how to fully unenrol from UQ. I got another offer and so dropped all my courses on my si-net and even called the student centre but they just said that if you aren't enrolled in any courses by the census date then they will cancel your enrolment automatically. Just checking because I wanted to make it clear that I was unenrolling from the provisional entry program so that I wasn't hogging a spot unintentionally until it's too late for the uni to make another offer.
Thanks so much. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't delay my offer going to someone else.I emailed Admissions informing them of my enrolment from my personal email, didn't get a response and chased them up a week later on my student email, which they responded the same day (???).
