We do not offer second round or top up interviews. Those applicants who are unsuccessful will receive their notification some time during next week.

Hey! I’m still a bit unsure about the MSA structure. Is it the type of interview where you’re given a scenario and have a few minutes to prepare before giving your answer? But since it’s online this year with ‘4 components’ and 2 interviewers does this mean 4 scenarios/“stations” or is this undisclosed information?
Is there an existing thread that explains in general the structures of different interview types?

The JMP website says interviews for QLD applicants are held from 23rd Nov, but i got an invite for the 20th. Can someone explain why this is? Is there something that hasn't been updated?

Your official invite is definitely more reliable than the website info, which likely hasn't been updated.

Not sure if this happens every year, but I've noticed the pool of rural applicants that received an invite from the JMP this year thus far have had a very wide range of UCAT scores. For example, for RA2 applicants, I've noticed scores ranging from 55th percentile all the way to 75th percentile or higher. Why is this the case?
It seems a little strange when the range of scores for non rural applicants is so tight. Is it perhaps to do with the quantity of rural applicants vs non rural?

Yes, it happens every year (and has since UMAT days) and yes, it’s due to the number of applicants for each pathway.
ETA: you’ll see the same happen for most unis with a rural pathway to greater or lesser extents.
They haven’t announced it yet (and I believe they don’t tend to do so formally but replied to an email request last year with the details).
That said, check out the collated data as it’s pretty clear from that.
With today’s additional data, the MSO Decision Desk HQ Executives (Dotwingz and LMG!) are calling the JMP Interview Invites for General Applicants as officially 2980 or above.
This represents a swing of approximately 3 percentile ranks and 140 raw score points away from diversity in UCAT scores and interview candidates for 2021 entry when compared to 2020.

Nvm. I emailed to ask how it would work since it’s online this year and they said they’d be answering our questions during the drop-in sessions! (I thought they were there just to test your internet and audio)
once again, that's an insanely high cutoff, especially compared to last year. I still can't understand how it managed to grow so much in just 1 year.
90%ile itself jumped from 2840 to 2940, the extra 40 marks to 2980 is due to JMP this year allocating a number of interview spots to UoN students (with lower UCAT cutoff) thus reducing the spots available to non-rural applicants.
Yeah a 3 percentile increase sucks but it is within the range of what can be expected considering this year's situation + JMP preferencing current students. Adelaide medicine went up 2 percentiles from 2019 entry (89th) to 2020 entry (91st), and there didn't seem to be any structural changes.
