Would you be willing to give us any more info about the phone call and the get-together? Is it for all 2017 first year med students?
 
They should release offers for everyone at the same time. I'd Wanna apply for on campus accomodation asap. Hope they don't get fulll quick.

Really? That's good then, maybe I can find a share house with some mates if it comes to that. Just have to wait and see.
 
Rural interstater here

Can confirm they sent a congratulatory email like 3 days after ATAR results came out to confirm that I'd made the conditions but I have not gotten any call about a meetup or anything

Has anyone applied for accommodation? I applied like a week ago and so far its still in the 'received' status. Does anybody know if I've left it too late or will it be likely I get accommodation in one of the colleges based on when I sent my application in?
 
I got a call from the following number but couldn't accept since I'm overseas. Is it Utas by any chance since its area code is 613. The number is - 613 869 107 12. Probs just a telemarketer yea? Can't google it because I'm in China lmao.
 
03, which is what +613 converts to, is Vic/Tas, but the rest of that number is not UTAS I'm afraid.

Google thinks it's a Melbourne landline.

UTAS offers have been out for quite some time. First offer posted here was Nov 28th with others posted in December. Can you please provide more information for what you mean?

Nope, non-standard means anyone applying with academic credentials other than year 12 marks. Thus, all year 12 domestic students are "standard" applicants, even if you are an Australian citizen using say, British A-levels, equivalent to year 12, to apply to university in Australia.
