Please dont worry I called UWS this morning .They said the process of sending interview will go on till mid November

Can anybody guess if 67 /61/51 can expect interview at UWS . Tried my best trying to figure their weighting with current offers but cant decipher it

I feel ya Niku, 60/66/53 what's are the chances at UWS?

UMAT: 93% (61,61,62) 185
Rural: No
School-leaver: No - GPA 6.3 ish
NSW

Received interview offer from JMP (at Newcastle), keeping fingers crossed for UWS and UNSW but not sure I'll get across the line for either

Got 88, passing all 3 sections but didn't get accepted to Adelaide. Is this normal? I am interstate as well.
Yeah this is normal for a first round interview because people with 96%ile from interstate also didn't get accepted. Cross your fingers for a second round interview though.

It's not super difficult to travel to. Just a ~1.5 hour flight from Sydney.

I recommend booking flights early, since prices go up closer to your flight date. Also, you can find accommodation at the colleges on campus (Mary White College is closest)
Hi there, do you know how I could book accommodation at one of the colleges for my interview time?
Ta.

UAdel first round interview is 8 days with about 16 time slot on each day, does it mean that they only offer about 130 interviews in first round?

At Adel last year I sat in the waiting area with 3 others and there were multiple interview rooms, so apparently 4 per time slot.
Would be similar at JMP, how many days depends on how many concurrently.

Can you please explain "
UNSW Med 2016 for two whole weeks.
Heading for UNSW or Monash or UWA 2017.
"
it has been bugging me for the last couple of weeks haha.

Due to some mischief I got expelled? :D

Naahh I started at Unsw then due to an urgent need to return home in Perth applied for deferral till next year. The other offers are also on deferral to choose from before restarting.

@A1. Advice needed Pls

I have the same overall score (188) and overall percentile (95%) as the one above. I'm also not an interstate (i.e. I'm from SA) or rural student. And I'm a school leaver (so pretty much exactly the same as the one in the quote). But I didn't get an interview offer at Adelaide Med (I got a rejection email). What can I do about this?
Hey did u put Medicine down as second choice in the preference?

Anyone got UWS interview offer in the this week or in the last few days? Interstate (SA) with 95% UMAT still waiting for the offer?
What were your section scores? UWS weights 1/2 almost exclusively so that could affect it? Otherwise, don't worry, the interviews are still being sent out

Anyone knows why the UMAT cutoff of UAdel for interstate applicant is crazy high, even for SA applicant? It seems it is 100% UMAT for interstate to get an interview offer.

A few have emailed to Adel admissions but no reported replies yet. We think likely some UFO activities have occurred.

Rural with a 97%ile in UMAT? That's a shoo-in score. Any idea what your ATAR will be?

very rural with a low percentage of students going on to university so my school doesn't actively give us estimates, but after some pushing I was told low-mid 90s, somewhere between 93-high 95. seems like this could be okay for schools with a rural path way?

Good for you, should certainly be adequate :)

I'd expect you to have multiple med offers from many different medical programs at the end of all this - provided you were applying to all those universities via their rural entry pathways.

In past years you would have universities jostling to get you in their medical programs by offering you scholarships of one sort or another with those kinds of scores (unfortunately not any more.)

Hey guys, I will be in Vanuatu when the JCU interviews are released (away from the 9th - 16th) and can't guarantee I will have wifi at any stage as we are staying in a remote village. So I was wondering are offers released via email (as I will have my phone on aeroplane mode) and if so do you need to accept the interview or do they expect you will turn up e.g. should I give my parents access to my emails so if I get one they can accept or is it find to wait until I get home?

Thanks :)
