Interview offers & dates 2016-17

Sorry, another question: Have any interstaters received any email at all from Monash??? An update email, or acceptance/rejection until further notice, or just a 'well done for completing year 12' email that they send out?

Had complications with VTAC (long story), so am just a bit worried as I've received no correspondence at all.

just got a monash DRL interview too today at 12:06pm, ATAR 99.7 UMAT 96th percentile

This all makes sense now, I was wondering why so many people hadn't booked their interview yet and now it seems they were just spots that were reserved for drl and Monash hadn't sent out the offers because they were waiting for all vic people to book.

Ive now got interviews for all medical schools I applied for (Monash, UNSW, WSU, JMP, JCU, UAdel, UWA and Curtin.)
ATAR: 98.7 (howevet bumped up to high 99s for most states except WA)
UMAT: 98th percentile (65 63 71)
State: Victoria
Standard and non-rural with a lot of special considerations in every state except WA

I doubt your Monash atar would've been bumped to high 99 using only medical seas

I'm in a bit of a bad situation. I'm currently overseas and I won't be able to make it back by 4/5/9, however Monash has said if you reply they can allocate you to 24th /25th. I sent the email but I got the automated reply because they are out of office. The deadline for the interview booking is 1st, and they come back to office on the 2nd. Do you think if I don't book, and wait for them to get the email that I wouldn't get a spot later on? Purely because that deadline at noon on the 1st December is scaring me.

Monday is a public holiday in Vic I think so perhaps they are only in the office on 3rd Jan.

You seem to have followed the rules and asked for the alternate date.... was there a deadline by which that request had to be submitted?

I was wondering if anyone had some stats from past rurals that have got UQ offers? I'm a rural applicant (RA4) with 99.95 (with rural bonus) with umat 80th% (170 overall). Any idea if I'm within range of either rural unbonded or bonded?

no it was other special considerations, not medical. TBH I don't really care about the bumped up ATAR for Monash coz I'm just glad I was guaranteed an interview because of SEAS

Anyone received Curtin confirmation emails yet? I called today and they were supposed to have been sent this afternoon and I was told mine was 11am on 7th of Jan, but I've received nothing by email yet. I know it's only 4pm in WA but still...want to be perfectly sure that I have an interview before I book tickets...

Yeah but bumped atar helps you get an actual offer, who cares about interview when it's still only 1 in 3 chance

I received my Curtin Confirmation email. My interview is on the 7th, but the document said that changes to interview times are possible and if interview times have been changed they will email to tell us. So basically they said that
'If your interview time changes, you will be notified via email. Please keep both interview days free (Saturday and Sunday)
should your interview date and time need to be modified.'

The UQ website states that applicants who have been selected for an Academic Scholarship will be notified via email and post in early January and unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email in late January so you still have a chance!

I believe the email meant to say 4th-9th Jan and 4th Jan is only option left coz the Victorians accessed it first and booked out the rest.
